In short: padel injury specialists in Netherlands are being screened now — check back in Q3 2026 for the first verified listings, or submit a clinic you trust using the form below.

Our 6-Criteria Vetting Standard

Every clinic in the Netherlands directory must clear all six of the following gates. A single fail means no listing — regardless of how well-known the practice is.

1
Named Clinician on Record

A real, identifiable physiotherapist, sports physician or orthopaedic specialist is publicly associated with the practice — not just a brand or clinic name.

2
Verified Qualifications

The treating clinician holds a recognised Dutch or EU sports medicine qualification (e.g. registered with the KNMG, NVFS, KNGF or equivalent body).

3
Racket Sport Relevance

The practice demonstrates documented experience with racket sport injuries — padel, tennis or squash shoulder, elbow, wrist and lower-limb pathologies.

4
Real Address and Contact Details

A verifiable physical address in Netherlands, a working phone number or email, and an active appointment booking process.

5
Evidence-Based Approach

Treatment protocols are consistent with current clinical guidelines (e.g. KNGF richtlijnen). No unsubstantiated claims or pseudoscientific treatments promoted.

6
Active Practice

The clinic is currently open and accepting new patients. We re-verify listings every six months to remove practices that have closed or changed focus.

Screening in Progress

We are actively identifying and reviewing sports medicine clinics and physiotherapy practices across Netherlands that treat padel-related injuries. Every candidate must pass all six criteria below before we list them here.

No clinic names appear on this page yet — not because good clinics do not exist in Netherlands, but because our review is not complete. We will not publish a name until we are confident every criterion is met.

Expected first listings: Q3 2026. Use the form below to suggest a clinic or request priority review for your city.

Cities We Cover

Our screening spans 50 cities and towns across all Dutch provinces where padel courts and active playing communities exist. We work region by region, prioritising cities with the highest concentration of padel clubs.

Not finding your city? Request priority review

Tell us which city matters most to you. We prioritise our research based on where demand is highest. No spam — we will only reply if we find a qualifying clinic in your area.

Your email is used only to notify you if we find a qualifying clinic near you. We never sell or share contact details.

You know the feeling — you need the right specialist and the list is empty. Most players don’t realise how new padel injury expertise really is. What actually works is knowing which criteria matter.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I find a padel injury specialist in Netherlands right now?

The PadelRevive directory for Netherlands is currently being built. While our screened listings are in progress, your best immediate options are to ask your padel club for a personal recommendation, search for sports physiotherapists (sportfysiotherapeut) registered with the NVFS or KNGF who list racket sports experience, or contact the KNLTB (Royal Dutch Lawn Tennis Association) injury helpline, which often covers padel as the sport grows. Always verify that the clinician has documented experience with padel or tennis-specific injuries before booking.

What type of clinician should I see for a padel injury in Netherlands?

For most padel injuries — shoulder impingement, lateral elbow tendinopathy, wrist sprains, ankle sprains, knee pain — a registered sportfysiotherapeut (sports physiotherapist) is the right first port of call. They can assess, diagnose and begin evidence-based rehabilitation. If imaging or injection therapy is needed, a sports physician (sportarts, registered with VSG) or an orthopaedic surgeon would be the next step. In Netherlands the GP (huisarts) referral pathway is common for specialist access through basic health insurance, though many sports physio practices accept direct referrals (directe toegankelijkheid fysiotherapie).

Are padel injuries covered by Dutch health insurance (zorgverzekering)?

Basic Dutch health insurance (basisverzekering) covers physiotherapy only from session 21 onwards for most conditions, after you have met your deductible (eigen risico). The first 20 sessions are covered by supplementary insurance (aanvullende verzekering) — many padelspelers carry the middle or top tier to protect against exactly this. Sports medicine consultations with a sportarts are usually reimbursable via supplementary insurance. Always confirm with your insurer (zorgverzekeraar) before booking, and ask the clinic which insurance they accept. PadelRevive has no financial relationship with any insurer or clinic.

How long does the PadelRevive screening process take and when will Netherlands listings go live?

Each clinic goes through a structured review: we verify the clinician’s registration, check qualifications against KNGF and VSG databases, confirm racket sport case experience, validate the physical address and contact details, review publicly available treatment protocols for evidence-basis, and confirm the practice is currently accepting new patients. That process takes between two and six weeks per clinic depending on response times. We expect to publish the first verified Netherlands listings in Q3 2026. Use the form on this page to submit a clinic you believe qualifies — it helps us prioritise.
