Our Standard

6 Criteria Every Specialist Must Meet

We apply the same criteria to every clinic regardless of size, location, or any commercial relationship. No clinic can pay to be included or excluded.

01

Named Clinician

Every listing must identify a real, named physiotherapist, sports medicine physician, or orthopaedic specialist. Anonymous clinics are excluded without exception.

02

Verified Qualifications

We cross-reference each clinician against Danish health authority registers (Autorisationsregisteret) or equivalent professional body membership to confirm active licensure.

03

Racket Sport Relevance

The clinician must demonstrate documented experience treating racket sport or padel-specific injuries — shoulder impingement, lateral epicondylalgia, ankle sprains, or equivalent.

04

Real Address and Contact

A verified physical clinic address, working phone number or booking link, and consistent online presence are required. Pop-up or unlicensed operations are disqualified.

05

Evidence-Based Approach

Treatment protocols must align with current clinical guidelines. We look for load-based rehabilitation, graded return-to-play frameworks, and avoidance of pseudoscientific claims.

06

Active Practice

The clinic must be currently accepting new patients. Retired clinicians, clinics under regulatory review, or those with unresolved patient complaints are excluded.

Screening in Progress — No Listings Published Yet

We are currently working through our 6-criteria vetting process for clinics and sports medicine specialists across Denmark. Padel-specific sports medicine expertise is still emerging in Denmark, and we are committed to publishing only verified, evidence-based practitioners.

No clinic names, doctor names, or business names have been invented or assumed. Every entry in the final published directory will have passed all six criteria described above.

Expected first listings: Q3 2026. Use the form below to submit a clinic for review or to request coverage in your city.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there any padel-specific injury specialists currently listed in Denmark?

Not yet. We are actively screening clinics and sports medicine professionals across all five Danish regions. Our 6-criteria vetting process takes time to do properly. We expect to publish the first verified listings in Q3 2026. In the meantime, look for physiotherapists or sports medicine doctors who list racket sports or overhead sports as a speciality, and use our vetting criteria as your own checklist.

What types of padel injuries do specialists in Denmark typically treat?

The most common padel injuries seen in Danish clinics mirror those found across the wider padel community: lateral epicondylalgia (tennis elbow) from the forehand smash, rotator cuff impingement from overhead play, ankle sprains from court movement, lumbar strain from rotational loading, and knee pain including patellar tendinopathy. A well-qualified specialist will have experience with load-based rehabilitation protocols suited to returning you to court safely.

How do I find a padel-competent physiotherapist in Denmark right now?

While our directory is being compiled, the most reliable approach is to search Danske Fysioterapeuter (the Danish Physiotherapist Association) member search and filter for sports physiotherapists. Ask specifically whether the clinician has treated racket sport players, whether they use graded loading protocols, and whether they can provide a return-to-play timeline. Avoid any clinic that promises unusually fast recovery without assessment. You can also submit a clinic you trust to our review queue using the form on this page.

Why does PadelRevive not list every sports clinic in Denmark?

Because most sports clinics have not specifically dealt with the biomechanics of padel. The sport involves a combination of overhead smashes, lateral sprint changes, glass-wall retrieval shots, and continuous low-level rotational loading that differs meaningfully from football, running, or even tennis. A generalist sports physiotherapist may be excellent — but only a clinician with direct racket sport experience will understand the nuances. Our 6-criteria filter is designed specifically to surface that expertise, not to act as a general clinic directory.
